Microsoft Corp. has announced the availability of Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online, an on-demand customer relationship management (CRM) service hosted and managed by Microsoft. The new Internet service delivers a full suite of marketing, sales and service capabilities through a web browser or directly into Microsoft Office and Outlook. It provides “instant-on” access to businesses that want a full-featured CRM solution with no IT infrastructure investment or setup required. Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online will have three delivery models that all use the same code base.

CDC Software has announced that Pivotal CRM 6.0 has been made available to all. The company officials described Pivotal CRM 6.0 as “a newly-designed customer relationship management platform based on Microsoft.NET technology.” Pivotal CRM 6.0 has a redesigned platform giving users out-of-the box, task-based navigation, forms and portals with “the look and feel of Microsoft applications. Pivotal 6.0 also embeds SharePoint, which lets users deploy SharePoint Server 2007 with SharePoint Designer 2007, and lets them implement a new feature in Pivotal 6.0 called SmartPortal, a Pivotal portal which allows IT professionals to set-up pre-defined portals by functional area.
Management products vendor Inovis said that it has partnered with Pervasive, the data management and integration software provider, to “expand the number of adaptors Inovis offers for integration with packaged and on-demand enterprise resource planning and customer relationship management (CRM) applications.” Inovis said that it plans to enhance integration with applications such as Oracle Siebel OnDemand, Sybase v15, Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0, Pivotal CRM, Sage, AP NetWeaver XI, RightNow, NetSuite and others.
